Morning Swim
Morning Swim was captured at Esquimalt Lagoon early one Saturday morning. My son had a scouting event nearby, and while my husband shuttled him to meet up with his group, I had a precious hour to spend walking alone by the ocean. A busy life means that an hour of peace is precious. An hour of peace, with my camera, on the beach, in the early morning light, is a truly invaluable gift that rejuvenates the soul.
This lone duck was calmly floating on the rippling water embodying the serenity of the moment.
Morning Swim was selected as part of my Healing Nature I - The Ocean collection. The full collection story can be found here.
